Hi everyone,
I'm currently evaluating the BT1058 module using the DB200 evaluation board.
I'm using the HFP status information to drive our application's UI. Different UI screens and application logic are triggered according to the current HFP state, so it is important for us to detect the call state correctly.
However, I'm observing the following behavior:
At power-up, the HFP status is Standby.
After a phone connects, the HFP status changes to Connected.
During outgoing calls, incoming calls, and active calls, the HFP status always remains Connected.
I expected the HFP status to transition to the documented states:
4 – Outgoing Call
5 – Incoming Call
6 – Active Call
To verify this, I:
Queried the status repeatedly using AT+HFPSTAT.
Monitored the UART traffic with a logic analyzer.
In both cases, the reported HFP status never changes from Connected while a call is in progress.
My questions are:
Is this the expected behavior on the BT1058 firmware?
Do these HFP states (4/5/6) require any additional configuration or AT command to be enabled?
Is there another unsolicited event or AT command that should be used to detect outgoing, incoming, and active call states instead of AT+HFPSTAT?
Has anyone using the BT1058 + DB200 successfully received these HFP state transitions?
Any suggestions or experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
