JakeH The AT+SCAN error occurs because The FSC-BT691 runs Peripheral (Slave) firmware, which doesn't support active scanning.
This module has two firmware types:
- Peripheral (Slave): Cannot initiate connections
- Central (Master): Supports
AT+SCAN and active connections
If you need master functionality:
- Check current version:
AT+VER
- Provide us the version info
We'll then supply the appropriate master firmware and upgrade guide.
