FSC BT1038 - I²S capabilities

Good afternoon,
Currently evaluating the FSC BT1038 module, and trying to understand its limitations related to I²S bus, is it correct this reference doesn't have the capabilities to output data over I²S ?
Considering about using this BT module as audio I²S gateway (mic sound digitized to I²S & speaker sound received from I²S), could this module match with our needs ?

BaptisteR The FSC-BT1038 features a complete I²S interface, with I²S_OUT for data output.

The FSC-BT1038 module supports I²S gateway functionality, enabling bidirectional I²S audio data transmission.

TX Path (I²S IN → Bluetooth): Receives audio from external I²S devices, processes it internally, and transmits via Bluetooth.
RX Path (Bluetooth → I²S OUT): Decodes received Bluetooth audio streams and outputs digital audio signals through the I²S_OUT pin.

Thank you very much for your answer.
On another topic, how about module configuration for Bluetooth HFP-AG ? It seems that our module is currently configured as audio receiver (see picture), is a fw update needed to enable audio transmitter mode ?
EDIT: we tried to enable HFP-AG with AT+PROFILE=83 but parameter remains disabled

BaptisteR Our FSC-BT1038 module is designed specifically as an audio receiver and does not support audio transmission functions, including HFP-AG mode.
