FSC-BT1058 - I2S input

The BT1058 Programmung USer Guide States that FW V1.07 does not support I2S input.

Is this supported in any FW version?
If not, when will it be supported?

martenkidd Currently, the general firmware of FsC-BT1058 does not support 12S input. lf you need this function, l will send
you the specific firmware that supports l2S input via email.

I really need this function, but I also need Absolute Volume. Some time back I downgraded to V1.03 from V1.07 in order to get Absolute Volume. See this thread:

martenkidd Currently, our general firmware does not support I2S input and Absolute Volume at the same time. However, we are actively developing a new firmware version that will include both features.

To make sure we align with your use case, could you tell us a bit more about how you plan to use the I2S functionality? For example:
1.Do you intend to feed I2S audio into the module and stream it wirelessly to a Bluetooth speaker?
2.Or do you have another application in mind?

I'm bulding a paramotor headset.

My phone will connect to FSC-BT1058 for Calls and Music.
The BT modue is connected to a TI Codec via I2S (downlink and uplink).
Speakers (IEM) and mics are connected to the Codec.

For now (during development) I can work with two different FW versions, one supporting I2S input and one supporting Absolute Volume. However, I really need a combined version in a month or so.

I can share more details over email if needed.

martenkidd From your scenario description, the BT1058 operates as a slave module in the paramotor headset.
Would you need the BT1058 to perform echo cancellation processing on the audio input to the I2S interface, or do you only require the BT1058 to provide I2S input support without any further audio processing by the module?
