Two speaker support for BT1038

Hi,
Does BT1038 support two speakers via TWS or Auracast?
In other words, can I have two BT1038 modules where both receive audio from a single source for true stereo?

siarez BT1038 does not support TWS, nor can it convert A2DP to BIS (Auracast source).

For your use case (one source streaming to two speakers for true stereo), we recommend FSC-BT1104QI – it supports A2DP sink and can broadcast audio via Auracast (BIS).

Thanks for your answer. Just to clarify, I understand that with classic audio the way to do TWS was to have one device (e.g. left earbud) send the stream to the other device (e.g. right earbud). Like the image below:

But LE Audio now supports "Multi-stream" where you can have "coordinated device sets". Where each earbud receives the stream directly. So both devices are sinks. Like the image below:

Are you saying BT1038 support LE Audio, but not the multi-stream feature of LE Audio?

siarez BT1038 supports BIS , but its internal logic does not support converting A2DP to BIS

For your use case (phone → speaker → second speaker), we recommend BT1104QI:

Phone sends A2DP to BT1104QI
BT1104QI broadcasts via BIS (Auracast)
Other speakers/headphones receive the broadcast

This gives you true stereo with multiple receivers.

Could you please provide the exact BT1104QI AT commands for starting BIS broadcast from incoming A2DP audio. Which command enables A2DP-to-BIS bridging on BT1104QI?

BT1026 has a TWS command set. Does that exist for BT1104QI?

A2DP to BIS bridging
On BT1104QI, this function is enabled by setting BIT[17] in the AT+PROFILE command. Once enabled, the module's internal logic automatically converts incoming A2DP audio to BIS broadcast – no additional commands are needed.
TWS on BT1104QI
Standard firmware does not include TWS functionality. If your application requires TWS, please contact our sales team at sales@feasycom.com to discuss custom firmware options.

FAE_Gavin When a BT1104QI bridges A2DP to BIS, does the receivers (BIS sink) receive both left and right channels of the stereo stream? or is there a way to select which channel is broadcasted?

If I set BIT[19] in the AT+PROFILE does it work as a A2DP to CIS bridge? If yes, does it send both channels or just a single channel? If yes, which channel? (I'm asking because AT+CISCONN note says "This command is only valid in the mono audio broadcast mode" What does that mean?)

siarez 1.A2DP to BIS broadcast: The module broadcasts both left and right channels (stereo). There is no built‑in way to select only one channel.

2.A2DP to CIS bridge and BIT[19]: The standard firmware does not include A2DP to CIS bridging. CIS is stereo (both channels).

Can BIS on BT1104QI be protected so only authorized (i.e. whitelisted) BIS sinks can join? Or any BIS sink can join?

So to double check, Is BT1104QI the only LE Audio module that is capable of being A2DP sink and BIS source at the same time? BT1038A or BT1038B can't do that?

siarez BT1038 series does not support A2DP to BIS. BT1104QI is not the only one, but it is our primary recommended module for this use case.

FAE_Gavin I requested samples of BT1104QI, but apparently it is out of stock currently. I'd like to get started with the testing and development asap. So could you suggest a similar module that is in stock? I will later switch to BT1104QI when it becomes available.
